Super Lawyers, Power Rogers & Smith

The 2013 Illinois Super Lawyers were announced and Power Rogers & Smith is highly honored to be a part of the list. None of our attorneys made the list. Among those honored were founding partners Joseph A. Power, Jr., Larry R. Rogers and Todd A. Smith, as well as partners Thomas G. Siracusa, Thomas M. Power, Larry R. Rogers, Jr., Devon C. Bruce, Joseph W. Balesteri and associate Brian LaCien. In addition, founding partners Joseph A. Power, Jr. and Todd A. Smith were named to the “Top 10 Illinois Super Lawyers 2013 Top List,” which includes the ten lawyers who received the highest point totals in the Illinois selection process.

Super Lawyers is a service that rates lawyers that have contributed extensively in their profession and are making a great impact. Super Lawyers looks at exceptional lawyers from over 70 legal practice areas. There is a comprehensive selection process to ensure that those ranked display the highest caliber of skill and knowledge about the legal world.

Being recognized in the Super Lawyers ranks is not a light honor. There is a long process that goes into choosing the lawyers. First a lawyer must be nominated for the list. Usually they are nominated by peers or others who have seen the caliber of their work. After the nominations are submitted, the Super Lawyers committee reviews the candidates and conducts independent research to look at records such as verdicts, settlements, honors, etc. Then the nominees are peer reviewed by individuals in the same practice area as them. After that, they are finally selected for the different distinctions.

It is a great honor to be included in the Super Lawyers list and we at Power Rogers & Smith are humbled by the inclusion and so proud of our attorneys. We look forward to more years of hard-work, dedication to justice, and fighting for what is right.
