Todd A. Smith Elected to Serve on the Board of the National Center for State Courts

Todd SmithRecently, Todd A. Smith, founding Partner of Power Rogers & Smith, P.C. in Chicago was elected to the Board of Directors of the National Center for State Courts (NCSC). Mr. Smith begins his 3 year term at the Annual Meeting of the NCSC in Burlington, Vermont today. The NCSC is the preeminent judicial reform organization in the United States with the mission of “improve[ing] the administration of justice through leadership and service to the State Courts and Courts around the world.” The NCSC began operation in 1971 when then Chief Justice Warren Burger called for the creation of a central resource for the state courts, a “national center for state courts.”

The NCSC provides Judges and Court Administrators a vital national perspective on court operations throughout the country through its Court Statistics Project. “It is an honor to have been nominated and elected to this important state court justice system resource organization. I look forward to serving,” said Mr. Smith.
